Daniel Stiles

Daniel Stiles has been investigating the ivory trade and other illegal wildlife trade around the world as an independent consultant since 1999. A member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) African Elephant Specialist Group, he lives in Diani Beach, Kenya. Among his previous articles for Natural History was “Jumbo Threat” (April 2012), about the commerce in elephant bush meat.
