David M. Garcia

David M. Garcia completed a PhD in molecular biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) this past June. This article is adapted from an essay he wrote that won MIT’s 2011–2012 S. Klein Prize for Science Writing. David will be starting a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Chemical and Systems Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2013.
